Leave the hotel (early morning) for Galle. En route, stop at Kalutara Temple, a unique Buddhist temple worshiped and respected highly by the local Buddhist community. The road to Galle runs along the southern coastal belt. Visit a turtle hatchery. Have a lunch at a hotel of participants’ choice. Sightseeing in Galle includes the Dutch Fort and buildings within the fort walls. Stop at a mask factory on return to see traditional masks being made and proceed to Hikkaduwa for a boat ride to see the corals and exotic plants and animals in the famous coral reefs. Reach Colombo by evening.
