Day 1: Leave the hotel (early morning) and proceed to Nuwara Eliya via Pinnawela. En route, visit the Elaphant orphanage, a tea factory/plantation,. Reach Nuwara Eliya and visit the Botanical Gardens. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure, and explore the small city. Dine and stay overnight at Grand Hotel - Nuwara Eliya.
Day 2: Breakfast and visit Hakgala Botanical Gardens and upon completion, proceed to Colombo via Kitulgala. En route a chance to enjoy white water rafting at Kitulgala and visit the location where the famous 'Bridge over the River Kwai' was filmed. Reach Colombo by evening.
