Guidelines for Poster Presentations
The letter of notification of abstract acceptance will contain a poster number for your poster presentation. Use your poster number to locate your poster board. Do not remove the poster number sign on the board. Posters must remain up until the time specified. You are required to stay at your poster at specified time to present your poster. Details will be shown on the letter of notification. The Secretariat keeps track of 'no-shows'. Co-authors and/or mentors may be available to assist in answering questions; however, they may not present the paper. The Local Organizing Committee will not be responsible for posters and materials left on poster boards during the Congress.
Poster design
Dimensions of the poster board are 2.1 meters (height) x 1 meter (width). Bring your own thumbtacks to mount your poster as none will be supplied on site. Please do not write or paint on the poster board.
You must mount and dismantle your poster during the designated time shown on the notification of abstract acceptance. No exceptions will be allowed. Remove all tacks/pins and background materials when you remove your poster.
You have complete freedom in displaying your information in figures, tables, text, photography and so forth. The presentation must cover the same material as the abstract. Briefly describe procedures and materials. Use generic names throughout. All compounds and drugs must be identified. You are suggested to attach a small photograph of yourself to the poster so that other participants can recognize you as the presenter. Prepare all illustrations neatly and legibly beforehand, in a size sufficient to be read at a distance of 1 meter. It is helpful to viewers if sequence to be followed is indicated by numbers, letters or arrows.
